Question about Verizon Pre-Order w/ SIM Card

Just pre-ordered my 64 GB Space Black iPhone 6 directly through Verizon's website- it gave me the option to ask for a SIM Card or use my existing one and I wasn't sure what to do so I selected that I had my own (I currently have a 2 year old iPhone 5). Did I make the right selection? Or am I going to need to get a SIM Card too now separately?

Like the iPhone 6 and 6+, your 5 uses a nano sim .. you can take it out of the 5 and insert it into the 6 when it arrives before activating it.
