I've read somewhere that if you already had 5+ replacements and still have a defective one, they're suppose to give you a brand new one (sealed) not a refurb? Is this true?

Another one, I sent my ipod for replacement, and they said replacement will take around 3-4 weeks but my warranty will be expired next week. So if I received the replacement unit, there is no more warranty? or will it be extended? Thanks!

What if before that 90 day extension, the unit acts up again? Do I get another extension?

You forgot to post some all important information. Where do you live?

I heard that if you had 5+ replacements, they take your iPod away and sell you a Microsoft Zune instead :D

I believe so. It is 90 days from when you received your latest replacement (for example, if you got a replacement and after 10 days realised it has a fault and it is replaced, you do not get to keep the remaining 80 days PLUS the 90 days for the new unit - it is always an outright 90 days from the issuing of a replacement).

Haha. Anyway, I live in the Philippines. How does warranty work here?

I already got 7+ replacements.

Not really. I get ******* units everytime after the other.

The unit I just sent for replacement had broken wifi antenna.

I have a question. please help me guys!! If i'm a secondhand ipad 2 owner, do i need to re-register the ipad again if the first owner already registered it by using his/her apple ID?
