Hi,

A while ago, when installing the 2.0 firmware (legally) I got an error 6 message and had to do a bunch of stuff to unbrick my ipod touch. Well I feel like jailbreaking 2.0 now but I heard that the only way (winpwn) involves you shift clicking restore to add a custom firmware. I havent restored my ipod since I fixed it and I was wondering if when restoring ill get that error again?

Also, is there a way to change to pinapple logo on the boot screen, I heard that is what you get when you use winpwn. I just want the normal apple logo incase i have to return for some reason and it is stuck at the boot logo.

Thanks

I fixed error six by putting the 2.0 firmware on a memory stick and shift clicking restore on another computer. I put it on a memory stick to save 10$ as they were trying to charge me again.
