Question for * 840quadra * re: DA Logic Bd in QS Box

(This question is for 840quadra or anyone else that would like to chime in...)

I saw your "QuickAudio" Dual 533 and wanted to check on something w/ you; the logic board in my QS passed on recently and I am looking for a replacement. On eBay, the QS board is $139-$149. The DA/Gigabit Ethernet boards: $49-$59. Will the DA board provide the same environment for the CPU (1.5GHz G4 from Giga Designs) as the QS? I think both have 133MHz bus speed... Is there a specific model number that you'd recommend?
Also, how did you modify the power supply connection to work w/ the DA board?
Oh... and what about the 12v coming from the 4th standoff to the CPU?
Any other useful info regarding this issue will be accepted with gratitude.

The questions I posted, although directed to 840quadra in regard to his "Quickaudio" project, were and still are open for anyone to answer, as I originally posted. I could really use the info to make a more educated purchase for my much needed Mac repair.

From what I gather, a Digital Audio logic board can be used to replace a QS board, with minor modifications to the power supply connection going to the board.
