Question for anyone who has purchased M1 MBP?

Just received my M1 MBP from a retailer today and I noticed the label on the back of the box just says:

13-Inch MacBook Pro

but others I have seen on sales pages online etc I have noticed it says

13-Inch MacBook Pro with Apple M1 chip

I have checked the model number and it seems to be the M1 iteration according to that.

I just want to double check before I open the seal whether it is normal for it not to state ‘with Apple M1 chip’ on the label on the back and this is in fact the M1 iteration.

I've only ever seen two or three M1 boxes but I've never seen the M1 listed on any of them. What you have is what I've always seen.

It could be those ‘For Sale’ listings with ‘Apple M1 chip’ on them possibly being fake??? Not sure though keen to see if anyone has got that on their boxes though…

I just checked the box of my 2 day old MBP, it has the ” 13-Inch MacBook Pro with Apple M1 chip” text. From Europe if it matters. However, if it is from a reputable retailer I would not worry about it.

My U.S. box doesn't say M1 anywhere.

I just checked the box of my 2 day old MBP, it has the ” 13-Inch MacBook Pro with Apple M1 chip” text. From Europe if it matters. However, if it is from a reputable retailer I would not worry about it.

Could potentially be the European boxes only state ‘with Apple M1 chip’ with UK and US boxes not saying it at all… possible
