All the reasons why I loved my 7 Plus, (which I just sold) but I miss the smaller more manageable size of the regular iPhone. The X just doesn't do it for me for some reason, even after extensive hands on. So I'm looking at the 8 series, leaning towards the Plus. There's some decent deals for Black Friday
I went from a 6 Plus to a 7 and then to an 8 Plus but I kept the 7 too. By the time the 7 rolled around I was tired of the huge phone, but then by the time the 8/8 Plus was released I wanted it back.
If forced I’d say the 5.5 size is what I’d use permanently.
In last 6 months have had 6S Plus, 7, SE & 8 Plus. Was tempted by X but 8 Plus is my phone. Can’t go thinner screen and not convinced X has better photo IQ for 95% of shots.
I always felt the size of the regular was good, but the screen too small. On the other hand the screen on the plus is really nice, but size a bit big for me. That’s why I picked up a X: bigger screen in a slightly larger than regular 8 body. If they hadn’t released the X I would’ve jumped from my 6s to the 8+ in a heartbeat though. It is a stellar device!
Yeah I'm sure I'll end up with the 8 Plus, just trying to talk myself into the 8, but the camera and the battery life of the plus is the biggest factor for me. Like I said the X just doesn't do it for me for some reason. But that's just me.
Well the iphone 6,7,8 have the old 720p screen from like 10 years ago. I wouldn't pay $700 for that screen.
The 6,7,8 Plus has the beautiful 1080p screen at least.
I went from a 6+ to a 7. Loved the smaller, more one-handed 7 at first, but ended up selling it. I started really missing the larger battery and screen of the +, so I got a 7+.
Went from 6 Plus to 8. I do prefer the smaller form factor as I use my iPad Pro a lot for iOS. But in all honesty wish I had waited a little longer for the X.
Went from 7 to 8+, took a few days to a week or so to feel "normal". But wouldn't go back now, the battery life being the real + for me. Display & camera don't hurt either 🙂
