Hello, I am having an app developed for me, and the developer has asked me to provide XML capable hosting.

I know a bit about hosting in general, however, I am not sure what is required for hosting an app. Can I use an off the shelf linux or windows hosting package from a provider?
There is suprisingly little info I can find about this.

I have asked the developer to clarify, however he hasn't gotten back to me, and I'd like to learn a bit more about it anyway.

Any guidance is really appreciated.

I'm sure any host will do. XML is an abbreviation for extended markup language sort of like html in a way, so there is no specific host or features for xml. Cheers
