I have a question for engineers at Apple concerning Expresscard/34 card for Sat/Wireless access.

Why has Apple not designed a card for wireless internet access. It seems like the new partnership between Apple and Cingular/AT&T would make that a priority item. And this is something that would really attract business users. Sat would be the best.

So ......

I believe Sprint makes just the card you are looking for. Unfortunately, you may need to boot into Windows to get it to work.. I'm not sure.

If you have a bluetooth phone (or an usb adaptor) you can link the phone to the computer and use it as a modem.
There are expresscards for this purpose as well, all 3rd party sold through the wireless telephony carriers (usually with hefty price plans as well)
