Question for those of you who ordered a 5s post launch last year...

Hey everyone,

Question for all of ya'll who ordered a 5s last year after launch directly from Apple.

Was there a huge backorder last year too?

Did you find your phone actually shipped sooner than the expected date provided by Apple?


I was late for the party this year because I wanted to be absolutely certain about the plus. I should have just gone with my gut. Didn't order til 9/24 and my expected ship date is 10/23-10/30. Not a plus (AT&T) anywhere in sight locally.

If you didn't notice, I was born missing my patience gene....😉

I started looking for my 5s first part of Oct last year. I just kept checking stock at the Apple Store closest to me (still 3 hours away) and once I found it, placed the order for store pickup and made a weekend trip out of it.

Not sure about online orders, but I know people are having luck finding them in store for in store pickup. Good luck!
