I know usage varies due to several factors, but for those who returned/exchanged or made a genius bar appointment for their relatively new iphone 5's, I want to know...

-What was the process? Do they do some sort of battery test?
-How much usage warranted the visit?
-What did they do? An exchange of a refurb/new? ( I heard that Apple will soon start to repair on the spot.)

I'm still in my 30 day return period.

Yes, they will check the battery health rating (actual vs. rated capacity) as well as look through the crash logs to see if the's a software issue causing the problem.

-How much usage warranted the visit?

12 hours standby, 2 hours actual usage and the battery wold die. Apple genius found a software cause to the problem, but also noted the battery was "borderline" in terms of health. Ultimately, the phone was swapped out.
