iPhone XS Max Question in regard to iPhone purchased from Apple Store

So I'll be overseas for a couple of months, and the girlfriend wants to try out my XS Max (Company gave me another phone to use). I am currently paying through Apple for a T-Mobile phone - could she use this with her Verizon sim while I'm gone?

If you paid Apple outright for device phone, you should be able to use the phone with any SIM.

You could always just pop in the Verizon sim to test.
But if you bought an unlocked phone from Apple then it is good to use on any carrier.

It’s so easy to figure this out for yourself. Put her SIM in your phone. If it works, she’s good to go.
