I own a Mac Pro 3,1 with a Apple Raid which works like a dream.

Spec as follows :

Mac Pro 3,1 2.8Ghz Quad Core 8Gb Memory , 128Gb SSD Main Drive with Raid 5 having 4 bays with 1Tb Drives making in the Raid 5 2.61Tb a wonderful bit of Kit.

But my question is this Why Doesn't my Mac go to sleep mode ?

When there is no Raid no problem sleeps like a baby when the Raid Card is on board no chance of sleeping

Am i being stupid ?? or am i doing something wrong ???

Regards

The original RAID Card does not support sleep mode. The RAID Card introduced in 2009 supports sleep mode under certain conditions, as described in RAID Card (Early 2009): Enabling system sleep
