question mackbook 2.4 to mbp 2.16

i have a chance to trade my white mb 2.4 for a mbp 2.16 late 06 model. is it worth it? i love the mbp screen and coo lil features. i know mbp cost more but i have a late 08 white mb and the trade is for a late 06 mbp. let me know what u guys this also could i upde the mbp to 4 gb of ram ive read that it only sees 3. would there be a difference in process speed i dont video edit or game mostly for work

Is your MB giving you problems, or do you find it too slow?

the sleep problem and dual login and not able to reboot unless hard restset
other than that no works great i was a windows guy but love mac now..

I probably would. Be advised the 2.16 will only take up to 3.33 gigs of ram. The screen alone would make it worth the trade.

the wife also agreed to buy me 4gb ram and a 320 7200 hd for the mac book i know it would probly work on the mbp but idk im in limbo dont know what to do
i like the mb but the mbp has always been what i wanted but money was always tight plus we have a baby on the way. im thinking or waiting and saving and waiting for macworld 09 for any new upgrades.
