Both models get scratches. My white iPhone 5 has been in a case th majority of the time and still has a few scratches. I'm annoyed that I have some on the bezel near the lightening port from searching with the cable in the dark.

So is really EVERY black iP5 affected by the scuffgate? Or are these only 5% that get scratched that easily?
I can get a brand new iP5 16GB black for 550(=730$)....
Some people don't keep their phones/iPhones with the intention of resale value. I have every cell phone I've ever had back to the model I first got in 1999.What's going to be an eye opener is the flood of scuffed iPhone's that will soon be hitting the market in anticipation of the new model.
