Hello,

I have a MACBOOK Pro running Mt. Lion with 8GB RAM. Installed on the laptop is Fusion 5.02 with Windows 7 Professional. I have 4GB RAM allocated to the virtual machine.

Someone told me that I would get better performance if I installed BOOTCAMP and ran Fusion from the BootCamp partition. They said I could have access to all 8GB RAM under Fusion running Windows.

Is this correct? Would I be better off running Fusion under Bootcamp and accessing Windows when needed through that interface?

If not, would there be any benefit whatsoever of using Bootcamp to access Fusion/Windows?

Thanks

You'd have the same limitations and performance when running Fusion using a Boot Camp partition as you do now.
