Question on carrier compatibility buying cellular Apple Watch from Best Buy

I have a ton of store credit from Best Buy, so I preorder the black ultra2 with them. I already have a T-Mobile watch plan on my current S7 watch, but on Best Buy app, it only shows three options: AT&T, WiFi, Verizon. Since T-Mobile isn’t one of the option I chose WiFi. Does the cellular watch sod at best but compatible with T-Mobile watch plan?
