iPhone X Question on factory reset before selling the X

I’m about to sell my X to a coworker, does it matter whether I remove the sim card or leave it in when doing the factory reset?

It doesn't make a difference leaving the sim card in. Did the same thing today before selling my 6S.

You must disable "Find my iPhone" feature before you do the reset. SIM doesn't matter. A good reference for "clean" reset for the purposes of reselling/trading phones is here:

It’s habit of mine always log out of my iCloud account before factory resetting. By logging out of iCloud that disables find my iPhone correct?

Not sure if logging out of iCloud will disable Find my IPhone. I would just disable before you do anything.

I just followed these steps before selling my iphone X yesterday. Kept SIM card in the phone before erase and resetting. Goes without saying to back up on iTunes.

Man, I just sold mine today for $700 as well to my electrician. 256GB as well.

Now I have to sell my wife’s iPhone X 256 for the same price.
