    There are many great free online tutorials out there on itunes and youtube.

    use the latest xcode.

    I have no programming experience at all, but I pick things up rather quickly if that helps.

    Quick note: That link is for the 2010 version. Might want to look at the 2011 version.

    The 2012 version is still in progress and I don't know when those vids will be posted.

    Get some beginning programming books or take some beginning programming classes (any programming language) and learn to program first. Plan on between 2 weeks and 2 years. Objective C and iOS development comes later.

    I used the Big Nerd Ranch Objective C and iOS books. They are great.

    Learn C The Hard Way is a free ebook, google it, learn from it, I recommend it.

    After you learn C, hit the iTunes U videos other people's suggested.
