Hello.
I am setting about downloading a few thousand image files from my iPhone 16 Pro Max and as I was doing a test download I notice that some of my jpeg files had an E in the file name. See attached image I have never seen this before. what does this signify?

That’s photos you have Edited on the phone.

iOS keeps both the original and the edit so that you can revert if needed.

You might also see that if the picture was shot in “Portrait” mode, as that’s essentially an edit.
