Hi i bought a new Macbook Air 2020.
I am a lawyer and i will use it always (90% of time) on my desk, in a fixed position.

What do you recommend me to do with the Power adapter?

Have i to use it always connected?
It is better to use it by battery and charge it every time?

I ask it also from a "clean setup" point of view.. it is better to have only the mac on the desk without the power cord ?

thank you

4K monitor that supports usb-c charging, one USB-C cable from the MBA to the Monitor, one power cord plugged into monitor.

clamshell mode obviously, Wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. Clean setup.

I read somewhere that it is better to leave plugged in when possible.
Something to do with the battery not requiring a full empty and recharge routine and it keeps the cycles down.

Just leave it plugged in unless you need to be portable on the battery.

Apple used to have some stuff on their site about exercising the battery occasionally, but they no longer do.

Here are some Apple support links that may help you.
