So I gave my dad my old Apple watch stainless steel (still in flawless condition) but the battery is just trash in it nowdays. He mentioned about getting the battery replaced at Apple for whatever it costs.
He/(and maybe I) think this is a better route than getting...say and SE3 which doesn't have the sapphire screen/stainless steel and a few features like ECG. Yes I know it doesn't get anymore more watch OS upgrades but i'm sure he doesn't care about that.

1. I know when I first got my AW5 battery life was great, (not as good as my current series 11 but still good). But i'm worried that new software kind of will ruin that? Will a new battery at least give a good full day of moderate use?
Will Apple just replace it with a "new"/refurbished series 5 SS? (I can't imagine they would have that in stock still)
