My parents have two lines not interested in upgrading. They both use iphone and I was thinking about using there upgrade. Is this even possible??

If it is on the same account you can do an upgrade swap. But if it's a completly different account you can't.

it would reinstate them in a two year contract, if they are fine with that i don't see why it wouldn't work
they dont mind the new contract but Im wondering how the sims would work. I spoke with At&T and they said its duable but stumped on the sim quesiton

you might have to pay for the sim cards? i don't know how much it would be to have ur sim ported to a micro one and vice versa . maybe call at&t to find out if that is possible.
