Question re: firewire on the G-Drives

As the G-Drives feature two firewire ports, does anyone know if it's possible to use the 2nd one as an input device (as if it were a mini-hub for your Mac)?

Yes, it would be possible. FW was designed to be daisy-chained, that is why there is another port on there. You plug the drive into the computer, then something else into the drive.

I use my G-Drive Q with an Apogee Duet daisy-chained off it with no problems.
