Hey guys....I am new to the mac scene but really looking fwd to my first mac...

just a query...

I dont mind waiting a little....so i ask this..

Do you think Apple will first implement the quad core mobile chip on the macbook pro only?

any chance we can see these on the 13.3 macbooks?

I want to get a macbook 13.3 but wondering if i shld wait to get the quad core....but then again don t want to wait a year or 2 before they become the standard...

but just wondering if apple would probably just update the pro line with these?

what say ye?

thanks

ps: as a side....if i were to get a macbook today....is there a decent perf difference between the 2.0ghz and 2.4ghz? tx

Quad Core in Macbook Pro = 14 Months
Quad Core in Macbook = 24 Months (2 Years)

Dont wait, now's the perfect time to buy.

Dont take these time frames to seriously. They really are just guesses as no one knows. Though he is right in that waiting is pointless, the macbooks were just refreshed. I would not expect any major updates any time soon.
