So when I initially synced my iphone a week or so ago, I decided to let it sync the Safari bookmarks. See, I use Firefox and my wife uses Safari. SOME of my bookmarks are in Safari too, so I figured I'd sync them all, then delete my wife's bookmarks.

Well I was able to delete the bookmarks, but I can't seem to delete the FOLDERS that the bookmarks were in.

Any ideas?

cheers.

Some folders are able to be deleted, some aren't. Folders like Bookmarks Menu, Bookmark Toolbar and History, can't be deleted. Others that are user generated can through the edit button.

Personally, I think the bookmark sync needs to be upgraded since most of the bookmarks I use on my desktop mac are not the kind of bookmarks I need for on the go and vice versa. You should be able to sync bookmarks like music–select folders and just those.

I've turned off bookmark sync, but as you have found out, manually managing bookmarks on the device isn't the best.
