    Hi all

I have just bought a new MBP (am waiting for it to come!!!) but just wondering...my gf is a uni (masters) student and she can potentially get applecare for this new laptop for a much cheaper price.

Is there any problems with her buying applecare for my laptop? does it still work if the applecare is edu discounted and my laptop is full price?

    thanks

Not at all. AC is not tied to a computer or person until registered.

When you buy AC, you get a box with a registration #. Until you register it, Apple has no idea who bought it.

Also check out megamacs.com and LA Computer company. They both usually have good sales on AppleCare.
