I just bought a 1year old base spec 13 inch umbp.

Was wondering what the max ram and hard drive upgrades were that it could take?

No idea hiw Ti find this out. Thanks!

max ram = 8GB
max hdd is currently 640GB but someday 1tb options should come out.

RAM Upgrade Question

I want to upgrade the RAM in my 13" MBP 2.26 to 4gb. Will this allow the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics RAM allocation to 512 from the 256?

I read this information somewhere but I'm having troupble relocating it.

No that's not how it works and more memory will not make the gpu faster.

I found what I was reading... It was the same GPU in the Mac Mini. Too bad the MacBook Pro doesnt work the same way.

The mac mini does not allocate memory for the integrated video card any differently.
