Long time forum lurker, but first time poster, and now soon to be first time Mac owner! I just placed my order for the new Macbook midrange yesterday and I am so excited for it to get here.
That being said, I had a question regarding the delivery estimate date Apple puts on the orders. I am going out of town on Friday the 7th, and my estimated delivery date is march 5-10th. Is there a decent chance I would be getting the mac prior to the 7th? I just called Apple to see if I could change my shipping method to 2-Day shipping, but they informed me that the package has already been prepared for shipment so I can't change it now.
I realize that is probably a hard question to answer, but I figured I see how long the rest of you have had to wait in the past...
