Hello all, I have a family plan with 3 iPhones and we all share the main Apple ID between devices.

My question is there any way for Ping or Gamecenter to handle multiple users from one account? It seems like this is not possible. Very disappointing if this is the case.

Anyway, I'm wondering if I set up a different Apple ID on each device if I'd still be able to use Ping or Gamecenter with the games purchased on the main shared Apple ID with the "new" Apple ID.

Anyone else have the same problem? I can't imagine I'm the only one here with this issue.

I'm wondering the same thing. Actually found your post on a Google search. I was looking forward to being able to use gamecenter with my wife. I'm hoping I can just create a new appleID within gamecenter on her iPhone without that apple ID taking over the phone.

I'll have to wait until she gets phone from work to try it. Unless you have already tried it and it is not working.
