Hi

I just bought a Macbook Pro yesterday and I am very pleased with it. However I do have one issue with it regarding images. I connected it with my iCloud in which i have 18,62gb images. Now on the Macbook it has used 23,03gb for Photos app and 22,39gb in Documents -> Images -> Photo Library.

First of all, why is it stored twice?

And how come they are both larger than what is in iCloud?

Is there a way not to download images at all locally and only have them in iCloud?

I have checked the option of not keeping the originals on the Macbook and only in iCloud
