Hi guys. I have been a guest here for some time and can not find my current problem being fixed.
I have a ps3 that I want connected to my imac monitor.
I bought a HDMI and mini DVI adapter and it connects from my ps3 to Imac. My question is where do i go on my imac to see the display? Im lost and obviously new to this so please help guys.
    thanks

I'm sorry to tell you that it's not possible. iMac has only output, no input

Yes, but you need EyeTV which costs ~100$ and it wouldn't be HD.

Plus the EyeTV and similar products introduce a slight lag, which can be a real problem if you're playing games.

Would be awesome if the new iMac has an hdmi in so that we could plug in ps3's and 360's into 'em. I know, I know.....not gonna happen ;)

I s'pose you would be able to buy a monitor and be able to play it, right? Cause, in effect, don't they just act like a TV? Sans TV tuner, of course.
