Could you still get the $100 Student discount on top of the free iPod after rebates?

It's a back to school promotion, so it's for people going (bacK) to school, i.e., students.

So long as you qualify for the education discount, you qualify for the promotion. This means you get the discount and the iPod rebate. At least, that's how it works in Canada and the US. Rules might be different elsewhere.
