I wan't a bag to carry BOTH my Macbook Air and iPad, will the Ristretto for Macbook Air fit both of these?? Anyone with that bag could help would be awesome.

I would say it depends on what size of MacBook Air you have. I think 11" would be ok, 13" would be really tight and if I had to take a guess would say it wouldn't fit.

I have the Tom Bihn Ristretto bag and occasionally travel with my iPad and work laptop (HP Elitebook 2530p with 12" display). The HP 2530p just fits and no more.

Yep, it does!

I've got the 11" bag. The Air goes in the pouch and I slide the iPad into the slip slot in the back (put it would also fit inside, right in front of the Air padded insert.)

Yeah, the iPad will fit in the front pocket, so if your MBA fits in the main, you should be good. FWIW, I use that front pocket for the wireless keyboard.

You could call and ask for sure.
