    Hi guys,

Im new here, and I just had a warranty question, I have a small dent on the corner of my iphone from it dropping once, and it never affected the phone functionality wise. But now I have a couple of dead pixels, and I want to know if I anyone has still returned their iphone with a blemish on the casing considering it really has nothing to do with the blemish. I just don't want to waste my time going into a store for nothing, thanks

It really depends on the rigidness of the Apple Store you go to, but I'd be prepared to have them claim that it was caused by the drop. Then again, they may not even mention it. It's hard to say not seeing the actual blemish, but I guess it depends on if it appears to be normal wear & tear.

I had to exchange mine and it had a noticeable scratch on it. They exchanged it without problem for the battery issue I had.

They'll replace it for you for free under warranty. Apple is good about that. They ask very little questions when you take it in. Just tell them what's wrong and they'll swap it.
