Questions about accounts

    hello

    i need some advice

    i have 2 accounts on my mac 1 for me and other for gf

    is there anyway of installing apps to 1account only?

    Yes, create an Applications folder under your home folder.

    Go to Finder, press CMD+SHIFT+H to access your home directory, press CMD+SHIFT+N (keyboard) or File > New Folder (Menu Bar) or right click > New Folder to create a folder.

    then do i just drag apps to that folder and they will only be on mine

    Depending on the applications, yes, since that home folder and all its sub folders are only accessible by the user knowing the password.

    well its basically twitter, sublime text2, classic ftp,

    Most if not all can go into the ~/Applications instead of /Applications though they seem pretty innocuous so I'm not sure why you want to hide them from your GF
