I love the gestures in Lion so I decided to buy a magic trackpad and try it, but i just can't get to using it for anything bug gestures. I work on emails, ppts, xls, etc.. all day and navigating with my finger slows me down to much. I'm must fast with an actual mouse.

So now I'm eyeing the Magic Mouse but it only appears to have gestures for swipe left/right, etc.. per the apple site. At a minimum I'd want it to work with Expose, Mission Control, and swiping between desktops.

If it can't do those 3 it's a deal breaker for me.

Can it?

Thx

"Exposé" doesn't really exist anymore in Lion...

Expose might be the wrong term. What I mean is the equivalent of four finger down swipe in Lion. It's app expose? It shows a misson control like view but only for instances of the current application.

What's that called? Does it do that too?

thx

You should probably head out and try one in practice. I found that trying to do swipes with my fingers while using the mouse was incredibly uncomfortable.

That's "Application windows". There is no built-in Magic Mouse support for it, but it's simple to add with MagicPrefs (http://magicprefs.com/)
