Hello all.

I have an SSD for a boot drive. I am buying a second PCIe SSD (only 80GB). In an earlier setup, I put the actual "System" folder on my boot drive, and on another, HDD, I put nearly everything else app related (Apps, "User/ X/ Library/ Application Support", "/Library/Application Support"). I moved the App stuff to save space on my boot drive (only 32GB).

Would it be beneficial to do the same thing on a PCIe SSD?

Generally speaking, it's best to leave all apps and their associated folders in their default locations on your boot drive. Moving the apps or their library folders can cause some apps not to function or update properly. You're better off moving user files to a 2nd drive.
