Recently I got the iOS 5 beta installed. I'm testing out the iMessages program and for the most part, I like it. However, I'm wondering if it's just me or that the program is a bit slow to send messages? Sometimes it seems like it'll take ages to send a message. An exclamation mark with a message that it's waiting to deliver will appear for as long as 5 minutes before the message is sent. What's going on?

Also, are the messages backed up when I do an iTunes backup? If not, how do I do so? Will the messages ever be backed up to iCloud?

Thanks!

I get the lag on sending messages as well, but it only happens to me once in a while. Back on beta 3 though, it was alot worse.

As for the messages being backed up, I'm honestly not too sure about that. When I did a backup in order to restore and upgrade to beta 4, it didn't backup 100% of my messages. It only restored messages up to a few days ago I restored and upgraded, which is weird because I did it right before.
