Okay so I get light peak is fast and is the probable future of many ports

Is it probable it will go in the new Mbp models
What can it replace?
will it cost a lot to put into a computer?
Will it take a lot of a computer's room?
When will we see Lp connectable devices like phones cameras ect ect

No, but there have been some late-breaking rumors suggesting it is more likely (but still unlikely).

What can it replace?
Yes. (I.e., you can pretty much name any port and LP has sufficient bandwidth and can support that protocol -- USB, FW, DisplayPort, whatever.)

will it cost a lot to put into a computer?
Yes, but probably less that USB + FW + DisplayPort + whatever.

Will it take a lot of a computer's room?
Yes, but probably less that USB + FW + DisplayPort + whatever.

When will we see Lp connectable devices like phones cameras?
Since LP supports the USB protocol, you could probably use any USB device on it right now.

I have said the same thing in other posts today...

Other think Apple is trying to set a precedent of NO Press conferences for new tech since Steve may be out of the picture soon and it wouldn't be the same without him. Definitely a possibility too

I'm afraid it will go to the route of MiniDisplayPort - it's an open industry standard but nobody uses it except Apple
