Okay so I get light peak is fast and is the probable future of many ports

Is it probable it will go in the new Mbp models
    What can it replace?
will it cost a lot to put into a computer?
Will it take a lot of a computer's room?
When will we see Lp connectable devices like phones cameras ect ect

No, but there have been some late-breaking rumors suggesting it is more likely (but still unlikely).

Yes. (I.e., you can pretty much name any port and LP has sufficient bandwidth and can support that protocol -- USB, FW, DisplayPort, whatever.)

Yes, but probably less that USB + FW + DisplayPort + whatever.

Since LP supports the USB protocol, you could probably use any USB device on it right now.

I don't see Apple using this new technology on a silent update.

I have said the same thing in other posts today...

Other think Apple is trying to set a precedent of NO Press conferences for new tech since Steve may be out of the picture soon and it wouldn't be the same without him. Definitely a possibility too

    RE:

Is it probable it will go in the new Mbp models - I guess no.
What can it replace? - Everything
will it cost a lot to put into a computer? - I don't know
Will it take a lot of a computer's room? - No

When will we see Lp connectable devices like phones cameras ect ect

I'm afraid it will go to the route of MiniDisplayPort - it's an open industry standard but nobody uses it except Apple
