I'm planning on getting a MacBook Pro 2.4GHz with 2GB of memory in the coming weeks. If I wanted to play a game on it, can I run a PC version of a game? Or am I limited to Mac versions of games?

Thanks for any help!

Any application will run in the exact same way in Windows via Bootcamp as it will on a Windows only computer with the exact same specs, maybe even better with the fact that it will have no bloatware.

Just to clarify, you can run the Windows version of anything only if you have installed Windows on your Mac. Out of the box a Mac only runs Mac programs.

So to conclude...

You can only put on a Windows game if you buy Windows XP or Vista. Which is like £50 on ebay (XP)

Then you have to buy the games for windows (£20-£40)

As long as you have Windows XP installed under a partion of your hard drive you will be fine!

Hope this helps your problems!
