Hey guys. Quick question.

My iPhone 5S was dropped and it shattered. I called Apple and asked what it would cost to replace and they said $269.00. Fine. Does anyone know if you can get a different color in this situation?

Go to the apple store and ask. Maybe they'll give you a different color anyway. Especially if they don't have your color in stock.

It wouldn't hurt to ask for a color switch but be prepared for rejection.
Either ways, I hope that you get want you want.

Thanks. I like the Space Grey just fine, actually. It was more of a question of while getting the replacement, if I see the other two color options in store and change my mind, would they allow for that. No biggie.

The really sad part to all of this? I had a black Apple leather case on the phone. I had just taken it off to clean some debris out, and dropped the phone.

No sir (or ma'am). It's a strict like-for-like replacement. No change in storage or colors allowed.

Its not always true, depends on the mood of the person. Be polite and you might get the one you want. I got a black 4s, but it might have happens since it was plentily available.
