iPod touch question's about the itouch's alarm

so i have a few questions about my itouch is there any way of getting an alarm system for my itouch like the older ipod models had? ie a playlist alarm for the itouch because i hate the itouch's default alarms, i dont see why they didn't impliment the playlist alarm on the itouch because it would be so much better.

anyways if anyone knows of a way to make my itouch use songs for an alarm taht would be great.
