So my favorite Beats Fit Pro left ear bud has quit connecting via bluetooth. I was working out the other day and the left side just quit. I tried resetting them numerous times but the left will not function. When it is in the case it will show as fully charged on my iPhone 17 Pro, as I remove the pair from the case the right will connect and the left disappears from the phone display, obviously the bluetooth is toast on the earbud.

I really like these over the APP 2 and 3 as I can't get those to stay in my ears, even when not working out. I especially like the programable buttons on the BFP something the APP series don't offer. I currently have a pair of AP4 non ANC that I am using, blah. I saw on Ebay there are sellers for the individual replacement ear buds but the pricing seems expensive to me, especially since I am in Thailand and have to pay as much for shipping as the replacement ear bud. So maybe it will be better just to purchase the new model Powerbeats Fit (replacement for the Beats Fit Pro). So I have the following question for the Powerbeats Fit users:

I can't tell from any reviews if the PBFit have the same programable buttons as the BFP? They do appear to be smaller and lighter which would be nice, my only complaint of Beats Fit Pro was that they were heavy in the ears (but not uncomfortable). They both use the same H1 chip so the user experience should be near same, I'm mostly interested if the new Fit have buttons that are programable, I don't like the stem controls on the APP.

I would appreciate any user feedback

I was able to answer my own question, found a review on T3 Magazine. The reviewer commented that he likes the fact that the PBFit maintained the physical buttons of the BFPro, which he commented that the buttons are much better as no accidental swipe during exercise can change modes or stop your music, etc. They also had screen shots of the iOS settings and all my favorite configurations are available, so I will buy a set ASAP, I only wish that they would have updated to the H2 chipset, but it really doesn't matter to me as I do have the AP4 which use the H2 and since I don't subscribe to Apple Music H2 vs H1 is not a big deal as all my music is from my library ripped from CDA's.
