Planning on doing a clean install for Tiger but, I've got a few questions as this'll be the first time doing a clean install. I use Carbon Copy Cloner to do regular back-ups but, once I update my iBook with Tiger, what things can I just copy back from my external HD (besides documents) and what must I redo? Can I just copy back the keychain file?

Most those questions are answered in this thread:

Please read it thoroughly, as it appears you don't know about the fact there is no such thing as a Mac OS X clean install.

It sounds to me you want to do an erase and install. Honestly, I would not do that unless there is no Archive and Install as an option. The beauty of Archive and Install is that it preserves user and network preferences, including keychains.

The keychain file is stored in one of your User -> Library folders. Either Application Support, or a folder of its own, or Preferences. The Keychain Access application has a function to import keychains from files on previous systems.
