Hi.

I have a question regarding Google Calender sync with iPhone and its uni-directionality.

I'm a Windows Vista user and do not use Outlook.

I synced my Google Calender and whatever I have on Google Calender gets pushed and shows up on my iPhone seamlessly.

Okay that's great. However, I was wondering if I could do anything to solve the uni-directionality between the two calenders. That is, is there any way to have entries I made on my iPhone show up on Google Calender as well?

Also, same question applies for Google Contacts and iPhone's Contacts.

I hope my question is not confusing.

Please help me.

Thanks a bunch!

Works both ways for me. They sync within seconds whenever I update on google or on my iPhone's calendar.

How are you syncing? Are you using Google Sync (Exchange) or another method?

OP, I've had the same problem in my experience. Maybe we are doing something wrong, as Merlosso suggests.

For reference I use an iPod Touch 1st gen, and have not updated to 3.0. This isn't a 3.0 feature though, to the best of my knowledge.

If you set up Calendar/Contacts using Google Sync (which uses Microsoft Exchange) as opposed to iTunes, they will sync 2-way almost instantaneously.
