    someone is paying me $400 to stay in iphone queue for them i will need to wait 24 hours do you think this is worth it

    How valuable is your time? Are you available to do it without interfering with other duties.

    Is your time worth more than $16.67/hr? This is about all you have to consider as that is what they are going to be paying you.

    I camp out for free, but only because I'm the one getting the phone. If someone were to pay me $400 to hold a spot, I'd do it for sure!

    I say, do it if you can. I think it's laughable that someone is willing to pay $400 extra just to make sure that they get a new phone first though.

    The first two guys in line last year at the Fifth Avenue store had their spots bought out for $1,250 each just to move to third and fourth. Crazy how much people are willing to spend just to be first.

    It's actually really sad when you think about it. I don't want to get all preachy, but that kind of money could literally change someone's life, and people use it to get a phone which they probably plan to keep for less than a year just a little sooner.
