Am I correct that the only disk copy program I can use with the Apple 3.5 Super Drive card is GS/OS and Copy II Plus 9.1?

ZZ Copy 2 and Photonix 2.3 (I have a ROM 03 Although I also have the card on ROM 01 and it does the same thing.) crash on my machine when booted up though the Apple 3.5 Super Drive Controller. DiversiCopy 3.2 works but it only sees one drive, you can't do two drive copy, also you don't always knows which drive it is going to be until you go to make the copy.

So other then question above, can I leave a drive attached to the Smart Port when I'm not using it. Then when I need to use a drive, just turn Slot 5 from "Your Card" to "Smart Port" and it will use the drive attached to the Smart Port and not draw power from the card?

Thanks! 🙂

I like Asimov for making disks from images and making images from disks - which is kind of like copying:

I don't have any idea about the Superdrive card, though. As far as not drawing power - it'll draw power if it's plugged in. "Your Card/Smart Port" isn't smart enough to stop power from flowing anywhere.
