Quick firewire cable question.

I have an old Sony Sony DCR-TRV250E digital camcorder, I bought this cable http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001D8DK9G to attach it to my old Dell XPS 1530(ewwww). Now I have my late 2011 MPB 13", the above cable isnt compatable with the MBP so I presume I now need a 4 pin to 9 pin firewire cable?
