Quick iChat question

Hi

With iChat how do I see other people without having a webcam connected to my computer? I can hear them but it won't let me engage video.

Odd... I'm pretty sure it should.

iChat often requires some router voodoo to make sure it works, and maybe the right ports aren't open? I believe you're supposed to be able to see them.

Well, assuming they have webcams...

They have a new iMac with the iSight built in. I do not have any firewalls up, but they are in a different country if that would complicate things.

the way i read it, looks like you guys are trying to do a one way videochat where you don't have a webcam and the other person does..in that case, the other person has to initiate the one way chat. for the other person, that's a simple right-click on your name and going to "invite to one-way videochat" or some option like that in iChat.
